Type my Mind

A worthy story you expect,
But oodles of trivia I collect.
My mind not in place,
Wandering out in disgrace.
Pointless observations I make,
To leave you with an impression fake.
No i'm not shaky, nor am I bright,
But I have surely become a reader's fright.
Not many know that they are bad at writing,
With words n vocab they keep on fighting.
Spare the pen when struggling with writer's block,
Cause all you will give your readers is a mental shock!
With the same 'words n vocab' magic you can weave,
Only if you take a step back, see the big picture and narrate at ease.
Never mind if the last line doesn't rhyme,
It is my mind I type to kill your time.

To rise or not to rise..

Can we afford to lose a day's sunshine, a fresh breath of life, a moment of peace, a minute of joy, a beat of rhythm, a word that rhymes, a drop of blood, a ray of hope, a flame of fire?
No? Then from where does the question arise?

The cake that Was

The cake was yummy indeed,
With nuts was chocolate so sweet,
Layer above layer built its height,
Creamy icing was an added delight.
Went through hours of preparation in exchange of cash,
Just to see itself vanish in a flash,
So what if you couldn't have it and eat it too,
Next budday we await to relish a brand new!

Redesigning Fate

Colors can make only superficial lines that are enough to convince the mind. Truth is that no one actually change the fate's design.

Dark and Light

One has no meaning without the other
Going through one, then the other
Happy for one, sad for the other
Dreading one, craving for the other
Living in one to die for the other
Cursing one, thanking the other
Hanging on to one, running from the other
Inhaling one, giving out the other
Savouring one, devouring the other
From darkness to light its either one or the other.

Sky is the Limit

Buildings in Mumbai are such a sight! I haven't traveled the world but the degree of variation one can see here is unique. Just gazing at a newly constructed commercial tower from a thirty-forty year old chawl converted to flat system residential. Both these buildings stand at a twenty-minute walk or a ten-minute drive from each other. One can find buildings of all size and colors on the way. So closely clustered that up is the only way to expand.
